Preparing the UT-1

Inserting the Battery

To prevent loss of power during setup or upload, use a fully-

charged battery or an optional AC adapter. The UT-1 takes one

EN-EL15 rechargeable Li-ion battery; other batteries can not be

used.

1 Slide (q) and open (w ) the battery-

chamber cover.

2 Insert the battery in the orientation

shown. For safety precautions and

information on charging the battery, see

the battery and charger manuals.

3 Close the battery-chamber cover.
