_1_ Notes on AF Area Mode

• When digital zoom is in effect, focus will be on the center of the screen regardless of the AF area

mode setting,

• This function cannot be used simultaneously with certain functions, See "Camera Settings that

Cannot Be Applied Simultaneously" (_ 87) for more information.

• Autofocus may not perform as expected (_ 2%.

[] AF Area Mode Settings

This setting can be set by pressing the MENUbutton even when using continuous shooting mode

(_ 80), I_1 (auto) mode and continuous shooting mode share the same AF area mode setting.
