Using the Camera
c Camera M Remote options
Certain menu options cannot be set depending on the state of the camera.

Shooting
options
White balance
Adjust white balance to suit the light source in order
to make the colors in images match what you see
with your eyes.
Auto (default setting): White balance is
automatically adjusted.
Daylight: Use under direct sunlight.
Incandescent: Use under incandescent lighting.
Fluorescent: Use under fluorescent lighting.
Cloudy: Use under overcast skies.
Color options
Change the color tone of images that will be saved.
Standard (default setting): Standard processing
for balanced results. Recommended for most
situations.
Vivid: Images are enhanced for a vivid, photoprint
effect. Select for images that emphasize primary
colors, such as blue, red, and green.
Monochrome: Images are captured in black-and-
white.
Exposure
compensation
Adjust overall image brightness (–2.0 – +2.0 EV in
steps of 1/3 EV).
Restore default
settings
Restore all Shooting options settings to their
default values.
Format card Format a memory card.
Reset all
Reset the camera's settings to their default values.
The connection between the camera and smart
device is disconnected because the pairing is also
reset.
Option Description
Choose connection
Select Camera & smart device or Camera &
remote.
Pair remote
Use to register a remote control that is not paired
with the camera, to the camera.
