Troubleshooting

SnapBridge 360/170 App Issues

Problem Cause/Solution

The camera

cannot be paired.

• Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the smart device. When

using NFC on an NFC-compatible Android device, enable

NFC.

• Turn off the camera. The camera cannot enter pairing

standby mode when the camera is on.

• Turn off the airplane mode switch on the camera.

• Insert a memory card.

• Disconnect the HDMI cable or USB cable.

• The camera battery is exhausted.

• The camera cannot be paired with multiple devices at the

same time.

The camera

cannot be

operated via the

smart device.

• Perform pairing.

• If pairing has already been performed, select Camera &

smart device using c Camera M Remote options M

Choose connection in the SnapBridge 360/170 app.

• Check that the Bluetooth icon is displayed on the

a Connect screen in the SnapBridge 360/170 app. The

Bluetooth icon is not displayed when the camera is off or

immediately after it is turned on.

Cannot take

pictures or record

movies remotely.

• Enable Wi-Fi on the smart device.

• Disconnect the HDMI cable or USB cable.

• Insert a memory card with sufficient free space.

Date and time of

recording are not

correct.

• If the camera clock has not been set, images and movies

saved before the clock is set are dated “00/00/0000 00:00”

and “01/01/2016 00:00” respectively. a Connect M turn

on Synchronize clock in the SnapBridge 360/170 app.

• The camera clock is not as accurate as ordinary watches or

clocks. Periodically compare the time of the camera clock

with that of a more accurate timepiece and reset as required.

The camera

settings reset.

The clock battery is exhausted; all settings were restored to

their default values. Configure the camera settings again.

• The inte

rnal clock battery is used to power the camera clock

and

to retain certain settings. Charging time of the clock

battery takes about 10 hours when you insert the battery

into the camera or connect the AC adapter (available

separately) to the camera, and the clock battery operates for

several days even after the camera battery is removed.

Colored stripes

appear in the

shooting screen

of the SnapBridge

360/170 app.

Colored stripes may appear when shooting subjects with

repeating patterns (such as window blinds); this is not a

malfunction.

The colored stripes will not appear in captured images or

recorded movies.
