Wi-Fi Connections (for iOS Users)

5 If prompted for a password, input the password

registered to the camera (the default is

“NikonKeyMission”).

• The “N”, “K”, and “M” are capitalized.

• When a Wi-Fi connection is established, a Wi-Fi icon will be

displayed in Paired cameras on the SnapBridge 360/170 app.

We recommend that you change the default password to protect your privacy. You can

change the password by using c Camera M Camera settings M Network menu M Wi-

Fi M Network settings M Password in the SnapBridge 360/170 app (A34).

Why the Wi-Fi Connection Prompt Is Displayed

• The SnapBridge 360/170 app automatically switches between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

to save power. The prompt is displayed when the SnapBridge 360/170 app

switches from Bluetooth to Wi-Fi.*

* Switching from Bluetooth to Wi-Fi may take a while when you perform operations

such as remote photography.

• The Wi-Fi connection is lost in the following cases. If the Wi-Fi connection is lost,

the smart device may automatically connect to another Wi-Fi access point. The Wi-

Fi connection prompt will be displayed again as needed.

- When the smart device is automatically locked

- When the camera enters sleep mode

The Wi-Fi connection may also be lost due to strong interference from nearby devices

or from switching out of the Camera tab.
