Provided as a complimentary accessory with all COOLPIX cameras, this powerful

software lets you import, edit and organize images with ease, then share the

soon as it’s connected, or displayed as thumbnails for

more selective importing.

Improve underexposed images or shots taken with too much

backlight. Nikon’s unique D-Lighting function automatically creates a

copy with added detail wherever necessary and well-exposed areas

left precisely as they are.

Face-priority AF

Take satisf yingly sharp portraits, no matter where the subject is in the

shot. Face-priority AF* automatically ﬁ nds, then focuses on people’s

faces, enabling you to achieve crisp, clear results time after time.

* Face recognition capability may be limited in some shooting situations.

In-Camera Red-Eye Fix

Avoid the annoying red-eye effect sometimes caused by ﬂ ash.

In-Camera Red-Eye Fix automatically detects red eyes in the

picture, then cleverly compensates for them in-camera for more

ﬂ attering, more natural results.

Combining an exceptionally high pixel count with a 36-126mm

(35mm equivalent) Zoom-Nikkor lens, the COOLPIX P3 and P4 give

great compositional freedom complemented by sharp detail and

faithful color. And with an easy-to-view 2.5-inch LCD each, they

make for smoother shooting and more pleasurable playback.

Nikon wireless image transfer

Built-in Wi-Fi adds exciting freedom to the COOLPIX P3 – letting you

send images straight from the camera to your computer in an instant,

and enabling images to be sent to PictBridge-compatible printers.

Note: Wi-Fi functions require installation of provided wireless software in a compatible

computer. Wireless printing requires optional Wireless Printer Adapter PD-10.

VR delivers rock-steady results

Stabilizing VR (Vibration Reduction) assurance overcomes camera

shake for clearer results. Choose VR Normal mode to compensate

for small hand movements, make use of slower shutter speeds,

produce better pictures when panning and overcome blur in low

light. Or opt for VR Active mode for more unsteady conditions,

which produces satisfying sharp images even when taken from a

moving vehicle.

Aperture-priority Auto mode

The COOLPIX P3 and P4 let you take

greater control over depth of focus, with

Aperture-priority mode. Choose a larger

aperture for attractive background blur or

extend sharpness into the distance with a smaller aperture, while

the camera selects the best shutter speed for optimal exposure.

Unique Nikon image innovations

A choice of three in-camera innovations can achieve better images

at the time of shooting and improve the results after the fact.
